STONE CUTTING AND FABRICATION
From stone slab to finished surface
Fabrication is where the material you choose becomes the countertop your room needs. We plan the dimensions, openings, and edges before cutting the stone.

Let’s work through
the details.
We begin with your selected stone and the dimensions of the space. Bring sink and appliance specifications into the conversation early. Discuss where the pattern should draw attention, which edges will be visible, and how the countertop meets nearby surfaces.
Our fabrication work includes stone cutting, edge shaping, and polishing before installation. A kitchen island, bathroom vanity, and fireplace each ask for different details. We work through those details as part of the project, from selection and a quote to the finished installation.

THE DECISIONS BEFORE THE FIRST CUT
Good fabrication starts with good information.
A slab becomes a finished surface through measured dimensions, planned openings, and agreed edges. These decisions need to be settled before cutting begins.
- 01Confirm the material and review the actual slab, including its veining.
- 02Provide exact fixture models and their installation specifications.
- 03Discuss seams, edges, wall junctions, and the readiness of the cabinetry.
THE MATERIAL IS YOUR STARTING POINT
Find a surface to build around.
Ask about suitability for your particular application, available slabs, and care before choosing.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN
A few good
questions.
When are measurements taken?
We measure the project space before fabrication. Contact us to discuss the right stage for measuring during your renovation.
Can I choose an edge finish?
Yes. Discuss the edge with us while selecting your material so it can be considered in the fabrication plan.
Can I review pattern placement?
Discuss the parts of the slab you like and where you want the strongest movement. The dimensions, openings, and slab availability influence the layout.
Are rough dimensions enough for fabrication?
No. Approximate dimensions help start the estimate conversation. The project needs measurements and confirmed details before the stone is fabricated.
